Business Communications Specialist – Business Communications Specialist will work with various professional teams to facilitate the end goal of production of software for use by the pharmaceutical/medical fields. The Specialist will perform necessary research on various areas of the pharmaceutical industry to promote the business and marketing of pharmaceutical products, such as: writing a manual on the tracking and tracing of pharmaceutical products for the software designers to use to write the software for the distribution systems. This will entail working with the pharmaceutical specialists, marketing departments, software engineers, etc., to ensure the details for Federal and different State regulation compliance are understood by all involved and will be written into the software programs accurately. Also, the Specialist will work with end users of pharmaceutical physicians, so that the pharmaceutical companies can manage their inventory of these drugs in order to be able to supply the end users in a timely fashion. This work includes a working knowledge of HIPAA and FDA regulations, and the various State regulations that affect distribution and dispensing of drugs and other pharmaceutical products. The Specialist will research the entire distribution process and write manuals for the software engineers to use to create software to manage inventory by the pharmaceutical companies and to assist with customer service and sales management. The Specialist will also write manuals for end users clinics and physicians and sales managers- for them to be able to use the internet based training software to navigate the FDA regulations regarding drug distribution and use. This work might also include doing the same for end users outside the U.S. 

Requirements – Master’s Degree or foreign degree equivalent in Communications Arts or Public Health and one year’s experience in any Public Health area.
